WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE SURE OF HEAVEN?
Let me explain to you from the Bible how you can know for sure that if you were to die today, you would go to heaven.
WE ARE ALL SINNERS AND SEPARATED FROM GOD
"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)
"But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you..." (Isaiah 59:2)
THERE IS A PENALTY FOR SIN
"Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned." (Romans 5:12)
"For the wages of sin is death..." (Romans 6:23)
"Then said Jesus again unto them, I go my way, and ye shall seek me, and shall die in your sins: whither I go ye cannot come..." (John 8:21)
GOD LOVES US AND GAVE HIS SON TO DIE FOR US
"For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life."
(John 3:16)
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)
"...Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures." (1 Corinthians 15:3b)
THERE IS FORGIVENESS OF SINS
"In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace." (Ephesians 1:7)
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9)
WHAT SHOULD YOU DO?
Realizing that you are a sinner and separated from God, confess your sin, receive the Lord Jesus as your Saviour, and commit your life to Him.
"But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name."
(John 1:12)
"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me." (John 14:6)
TO BE SURE OF HEAVEN, PRAY:
"Dear God, I believe that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died for my sins; that He was buried,and rose again the third day. I confess that I am a sinner. Forgive me of all my sins, and wash me from my sins in the blood of Jesus. Come into my heart, Jesus, and be my Saviour. Thank you, Father, for saving my soul. In Jesus' name Amen."
